Winter Solstice Gathering
6:30 - 9:00 pm
At my office
This time of year has been marked since ancient times as sacred.
It's a time to.....
✨ pray and reflect
✨ release and give gratitude
✨ gather and celebrate
✨ dream and wish
This sense of the timeless honoring of the season can get lost in the flurry of so much around us. But is it always here just waiting for us to take a moment and tune in.
Please join me in an in-person circle to honor the special time of Winter Solstice. The evening will include.....
✨ guided visualization and meditation to slow us down and find out inner stillness
✨ drumming shamanic journey to meet with the ancient guides and deities of the Solstice
✨ sharing, tea, and holiday treats
The Deer Mother is an old goddess of the Winter Solstice. She was revered by many people who believed she carried the sun across the sky in her antlers on Solstice night. It is a tradition in groups I've gathered with at this time to receive her wisdom and ask for her guidance. Deer Mother carries the light through the dark times.
No experience necessary. You do not need to have journeyed before. This will be a deep and nourishing experience for those who have never journeyed with drumming and to those who have many times. A shamanic journey is a practice where through the rhythmic beat of the drum, one enters into the Spiritworld or a meditative state where we are open to the magic of all of life and closer to hearing our own inner voice.
This is a time to come together to celebrate both the Longest Night and the Return of the Light. Women, Men, and young people are invited.
